Guilietta "Central Manchester" Event - 6 May

Anyone else going?........I got an invite in the post a few days ago - rang to confirm today, and then received a phone call from Alfa in London this afternoon asking me if I was interested....but I'm only going once

From a comment in a thread in the North-East lounge it appears that Mango's have culled all the expressions of interest down to 100 "Serious potential buyers".......

- but what confuses me is that the event is taking place at Manchester Central - what I knew as G-Mex, I think.....right on Bauer Millett's doorstep......

I had a PM via AO and an email to work a few days ago. I replied positively to both and explained who I was on AO to the direct Alfa one so they didn't waste an invite by contacting me twice but had nothing since.

I did get a missed call from an 0208 number to both my phones when I was in a meeting but they didn't leave a message and the return number just goes to an unidentified answerphone so I'm none the wiser whether it was Alfa or a cold call.

The event was going to happen at my place of work but we did not have the dates they wanted, I was most sad as I had drawn up the plans and the touring showroom they have which is in the shape of a cloverleaf fitted very nicely. I pushed the conference sales team to try and get some stuff shifted and said I bet I could get a few friendly Alfa Owners to put on a good outside display of the mark too.

Its a tour which ARUK are doing hence it is not linked to the dealer network

We're booked in for 7pm on the 6th.... might be an alternative to the 159 so fancy a look anyway! I had an invite and had to RSVP to 0845 680 0082. Didn't seem to be any official list when i phoned up as he had to take my address to send the 'VIP' tickets to.

If anyone fancies it, I'd just try ringing the number. They are taking reservations for 20min slots between 11am and 9pm

If the missed call was from 02084954400 that was the Alfa Number that called me.....

Had an invite but no call as yet, thinking about it I have a new number since my last purchase so maybe that's why they ain't called. I'm going to try the number on my invite and see if I can get a slot

mango's just contacted me asking me if i wanted to go - they're asking aruk to add me to the list. well i suppose it'd be rude not to, gmex is only round the corner from work

I'm booked in at 2.00pm - tho I haven't received any tickets through the post yet, which is cutting it a bit fine...still I suppose the Bank Holiday may have delayed things.......

Reckon if nothing comes I'll just rock up there anyway......

Hi Al - I am assured that they will phone you on your mobile in the morning. They know you are only minutes away from the event location so keep your mobile on in the morning.

....Hi Al, just had a horrible thought that they may have the wrong mobile number for you - please PM with your Mobile Tel No. ASAP and I will forward it onto the event manager...........I'll get him to come & pick you up if necessary.

.......the Manchester Alfa Giulietta VIP Pre-Launch Event is full but the previous event in London had a few no-shows so a few extra people can go along but you must all go at the time slot that Alfa tell you to go at - they are trying to flow through the Giulietta Cloverleaf experience in groups of 8 every 10 mins.

The show starts at 11am and it terminates at 9pm.

You'll all love the car in the flesh and the space inside for everybody is the best I have ever seen in any Alfa. Alfa don't do "Family Space" normally but the Giulietta now fixes that problem.
