Mersey U-Boat meet
Calendar: Event Calendar

Ladies, gentlemen, HM.... It's time we had another meet on Merseyside

When?
Sunday 8th November, 12pm

Where?
The U-Boat Story at Woodside ferry terminal, Birkenhead

http://www.u-boatstory.co.uk/

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...d+Kingdom&z=16

Woodside Ferry Terminal
CH41 6DU

What?
AONW family meet - children, friends, relatives.. - bring yer red beachballs, everyone's welcome

We can have a good nosey around the U-Boat and grab some piccies in the car park and hopefully get some nice Mersey shots too. There is a public car park there which is pay & display at £1 per hour which ain't too bad

Afterwards, we'll shoot through the tunnel back over to Liverpool and grab a beer and/or a bit to eat at a pub somewhere - let's all have a think about somewhere we could go, preferably near town somewhere and with decent parking?

Meet at the U-Boat place at 12pm, so those of us having a beer in Liverpool we'll probably finish up maybe 3-4pm...

All entry prices for the U-Boat can be paid cash on the day, details on the website link above

We could meet up same place as the famous mersey tunnel meet;

B&Q on the M62, there is a burger king for 'Hungry Hippos' as well

I'll be there for the U boat story but will have to see about food after.

It'll probably be the first meet with my GTV

Nice venue - I missed a turn going to visit my uncle and saw the U-Boat several years back, quite a sight when you aren't expecting it! I researched it after that. Wonder if I can get along to the meet...

Did laugh at the red beachball comment - I bet everyone loves him

Cum on Al, it's where I arranged for those lucky AOers to meet before shooting down the 62 to the 'Pool.
If that's where people want to meet up, I can volunteer to make arrangements. The only downside is there's a regular car boot nearby but B&Q don't mind people parking there and Burger King welcome the trade, so if there's enough interest, I will help out.
Andy.
PS you bringing the tractor through the tunnel??
