Any AOers near Carlisle?

Just wondering - are there any of you in or around Carlisle?

I'm just over the border and wondered if there was any chance of getting a borders area meet sometime?

No, I'm just wondering if there is any mileage in mini meets further south of our region and north of the NW region. They're both big areas.

i'm sure we can manage something up in the lakes before too long if any of you wall-hoppers fancy making the trip down

I'm in south Cumbria but could travel.

okey dokey, i will make it so - need to squeeze in as many meets as i can in the next 7 weeks before the baby's due and my 'evenings out pass' expires

probably make it mid august sometime. in the meantime the table is now booked at the blundell arms for 12 of us at 7.30 tomorrow

now that sounds like a plan, i'll get working o it and see if any of the NE and scots lot fancy joining us

Good break in Wales Al, no mutton related high jinks i hope

Honnister, newlands and whynlatter passes, nice little route that takes in all three passes, used to take the bikes up there on a summers evening, but bin a few years now

A run around the Lakes sounds great Al

MartinR has suggested a minimeet in Dumfries and I just wondered if a Carlisle minimeet might work too.

i was wondering if we could get County Motors on board with something?

Just to bring this thread up to date Tom from County Motors emailed me yesterday to say that they would be delighted to discuss any ideas we might have

ok so who's got some suggestions we can put forward to county motors as ideas that they could get involved in?

I'm gonna make contact with County as they have already told an AOer they'd welcome us with open arms
