I have trawled through various discussions on this subject but am hoping that some light can be shed on the following specific questions without getting into a wider discussion on the pros & cons of re-mapping.
1. Has anyone actually asked Alfa about the implications of a remap on the warranty ? (I know the arguments about the dealer not knowing a remap has been done)
2. Has anyone had an insurance quote for a re-mapped car ? (I know the arguments about the insurers not knowing a remap has been done)
3. Are there any recommendations for someone to do a remap in the Cheshire/Northwest area - there are loads of people offering this but I have only seen reference to Angel, Celtic or Red Dot. I would prefer to use someone local in case I need to go back in the event of problems.
4. Red dot is the only place I have seen a rolling road mentioned - what are the benefits of using one ?
