I should just about be able to make that I reckon if I get away on a flyer. Already ensured no appointments Tuesday.

I was up that way the other evening, the views from Blundell Arms are great. The road over Belthorn wasn't too bad (potholewise speaking) and my GTV has been lowered.
I haven't done the Rivington run since last year but I don't recall any 'bad spots' just some quite narrow lanes.

Was doing fine until the 2nd junction where the posse leaders turned left. Had to give way to a couple of dawdlers, and never saw the front runners again. After many miles of not knowing where the hell I was supposed to be heading (OK the next major junction), stopped and got help from those behind.....general agreement of the whereabouts of the 'speedy bunch', see Fee's post!

Good time had by all I think, just when you thought Dave was the home of witty banter, try a NW Alfa meet.

PS my dog is not a dangerous beast, just an Italian Mastiff (not Neopolitan), has a mean bark, doesn't really bite and can drool from both ends, a bit like my 156.

i wondered where all you slowcoaches got to me, peter (& lorraine), wayne & nigel made it back to the pub, no idea where the rest of you were

had a great night tonight, thanks to everybody for turning up, really appreciate it. hopefully see many of you at auto italia day on sunday 2nd
