Eberbach,Mosbach, Black Forest, where's my rifle? Now that is fine tasting wild hunting, for roasting, with flavour. Never mind those poor old 'no life' chickens people scoff!

Re: Wild boars

Indeed it is Zed

and for the carnivores among us they have a butchers shop

The Cafe also does a top wild boar bacon butty with one of the best tasting free range eggs on it

So don't bother with the butties AL the cafe is top notch

Now now! No one has used that title for me for yonks, on AO. Last one was Tifosi, when I was having a crack about something with him. Shame he left, in some ways?:

*drooling* - MMmmmm! AND a good butcher's shop?

I absolutely love the Trough of Bowland. Used to be our most regular family picnic jaunt when I was a kid -and great road rally selectives when they were still allowed.

Sounds great for a family day out. "Yes" for clan Jim as long as there's no clashes of diaries with MrsJim's predetermined plans.

Thomas has been to the very similar thing at Smithills Farm, Bolton three times now, I think, on birthday parties for the kiddies at nursery. He still goes on about seeing the owl, feeding lambs and touching the python (no fear kids).

MrsJim's diary works in mysterious ways my friend. I control neither my bank account nor my life these days!!!

HM looks good. Better waiting 'til the weather is a bit warmer though. I hate mud.

Re: Wild boars

Surely a 'Wild boar park' ought to have 'Wild boars'!

Can't see much evidence of them on that website. Any self respecting Wildboar has to look like it's come straight out of an Asterix book!

Re: Wild boars

OK HP I believe you. Still think that they could do better on the promotion front if they put a picture of a wild boar on the website!

Thanks Al. "It's one louder"!
