AONS Kart day?

Anybody up for some of this over the cooler months? Then maybe a bite to eat afterwards?

Was thinking November/December.

If we had an idea of numbers then we could decide what style of event to go for.

Kartstart - longest indoor karting circuits in Scotland

Never been to this one before, so no idea what it's like. From website though it looks a lot like the ones at Falkirk/Edinburgh(Newbridge)

definatly! Ive been there before, they change the track orientation reasonably often so I cant comment on the layout other than to say they maximise the space thay have to give the largest lap. The 'road' surface is quite smooth too.

this weekend is good, but perhaps we can run more than one evening.

Could also be described as the narrowest - hard to overtake without contact!

I'll come along if I'm free. Weekdays proably best for me 'cause I work in ABZ, but I could do weekends as well.

My own thoughts are that we will have more coming along if it was a weekend. Evening slot would no doubt limit it to those in the Aberdeen area. I've went down to the last 2 AOSS Kart days, both of which were well attended by members from all over.
I would like to do a GP style event with at least 16 drivers, that way we all get a good bit of track time. Not sure if we will get that many though. Last weekend in November would be a most likely date.

Would love to have made this as I seem to keep missing the breakfast runs but my girlfriend is due at the end of Nov.......maybe next year guys, would be great to meet everybody again

Best of luck to you both with the arrival Aiden - glad to know that it wasn't us who frightened you away from the breakfast runs - we'll let you off seeing as you have a good excuse to have missed them

Have opened this up again, and deleted the event.
One suggestion at yesterdays breakfast meet was the outdoor one.
We may have a crack at doing a joint AO Scotland indoor kart day much like previous years at the start of next year. The more who put there name down, the cheaper it will be.
