Well on returning from holiday last Saturday and seeing Andy's post on Sunday I pm'd him right away - David left for Brazil on Monday so the job of viewing and purchasing was left to me - once i got the details of it and saw the photos the decision whether to go for it was a no brainer really - the car is gorgeous and in good nick (nothing that a bit of TLC won't fix) and the price was such a bargain......deposit was paid there and then ...... car delivered next day

This is mine - well on paper
Ha ha yes it was me who said there wasn't any room on the drive but when I saw the car I just knew it could be squeezed in

Not at the moment - the 156 is still David's 'winter project' for which he has all the 'bits' in the garage so no plans to replace any vehicles for the time being

looking forward to pictures, what is the spec still standard?
beware of the GTA lounge, they will be trying to convince you the diff will crumble unless you have a Q2 and the suspension requires changing for koni's before you move an inch.
I was tempted to drop a pm to Andy but really couldnt justify it.
At the moment the 156 is in the garage and off the road for the winter still giving us the 3 others to choose from
Well I haven't a clue about diffs and Q2s

so will leave the mechanical stuff to David he's the expert

Hmm I suspect that it will be David who will be driving it on any of the AONS runs over the Slug Road - I'm not so sure I can handle it as it is soooooo fast
