SICD Convoy

Scottish Italian car day is 30th of May this year folks. RSVP thread is in South Scotland lounge. Anybody intererested in a wee convoy to head down from the North? I'm in Laurencekirk, but we could have various meet points on the way down to Craigtoun.

there will probably be 5 of us leaving from arbroath if ur coming by this way? 2 gtvs 2 156s and a 147. not comfirmed this but there's usually a group of us leave together.

Good stuff Simon, probably leave Laurencekirk at about 10ish. We'll have a meet before then up at Aberdeen to discuss further.

If I am, I have already said I will be going down with the fiat-scotland guys, I have been a member on there for years (used to have a punto) and they need one real car in their line up?

But if there is a few of us going down from here, why not all meet up and go together? get a decent sized convoy in the go

Like previous post, I will be going with the guys from Fiat-Scotland but I will be sure to come across and have a yap/admire the fine Italian beauty

will we get a meeting point arranged for dundee then? cant think of anywhere suitable near the bridge but theres an asda which isnt too far out of the way for people coming from arbroath or the A90 and has a big car park?

Will be coming from Forfar - Dundee route on A90,could meet up with anyone at Mc.d`s in Forfar,or Tayport carpark just over the Tay bridge (A92),1st left at roundabout,(B946)then 1st left into carpark?

there's usually 3 or 4 cars go from arbroath we meet in focus/mcds car park. probably be leaving around 10am. ur more than welcome to come along

tayport carpark would probably be better for us from arbroath. meet there around 11am?

I think we`ve to be at craigtoun for 11am opening? I was thinking of leaving forfar Mc.D`s about 10:00,and then leave tayport at 10:30am (ish)

Me too bud. Don't think i'll bother trying to get down to Cupar to meet the South gang.
We'll meet you in Forfar and aim to leave there for no later than 10.

We'll aim to be there for 11 ish anyway G.
Otherwise if you have time to meet at Cupar, you can just take the turn off for Balmullo and on through Darsie into Cupar.
From Cupar we'll be taking back roads to Craigtoun, instead of going through St Andrews.

Graham, I could meet you at the Coop at Laurencekirk, say 9:15-9:30? Anyone coming from Stonehaven, Aberdeen or further north could meet us there? It's only a few minutes off the A90. We should get down to MacD's for 10am then? Should be a good convoy into Craigtoun.

Just a quick catch up folks,
Spoke to Simon last night and we'd agreed 9:30 meet at mine. That would mean 9:50 at McD's in Forfar then 10:20ish for Tay Bridge. With that plan we could probably latch on to the South convoy.
