Xmas

Starting to hunt out the Xmas Decorations , kids want them up , so aggreed to get them out from the loft but not starting to put them up until the weekend.

Some people already have them up

I have it on good authority that people who put decorations up before December 1st get coal for Christmas.

Coal would be fine, better that socks again not had the old fireplace lit for a few years now.

I Remember my Gran bringing a bit of coal in at new year when first footing. No idea why, must try and find out!

I am pretty much a fully signed up scrooge, not a big fan of christmas. I delay the decoration for as long as possible. The wife is currently wanting to buy an upside down black tree, I just dont understand..........

I've seen a few of those upside down trees in John Lewis, awful! Keep them away from your house!

I'm not a fan of the shops continual flogging of Christmas, I do enjoy the generic run up, mince pies, mulled wine and all that.

I had a look at one of those upside down trees in the local DIY centre, dont like th look af them

Anyway, this weekend looks like it will be the christmas shopping weekend armed with a wallet full of cash and a credit card incase it gets out of hand
