Scottish italian car day 2008.

Anyone planning on going down to St Andrews this year for the annual scottish italian car day?

I am hoping to arrange a convoy to go down. Starting with a gathering in aberdeen, meeting more at stonehaven, then meeting more at the other end of the tay bridge, then straight to st. andrews.

Please post if you are interested.

Also, if you want your car "on display" make sure you see the sticky at the top of the page.

Andrew.

Re: Scottish italian car day 2008.

Hello, Tell me more. I am interested. I have just cancelled my 159 ti sw 2.4 order after 25 weeks of waiting with no light at the end of the tunnel!! However, I will take delivery of a Stromboli Grey 159 SW 2.4 Lusso with loads more/added spec by 9/5/8. Can't wait. Talk about 'clock-watching'!! Anyways, give me the low-down. I am just north of Edi into bonnie Fife! Ciao.
Alessandro.

Sounds like a very nice car you have lined up there.

Don't know if you are familiar with the event but every year the AROC hold an Italian car day at Craigtoun park in St Andrews. Always loads of cars to see! i forget the date but i will update this post shortly. The Alfaowner.com members will have a designated "display area" as usual for which to show of our cars.

Of course you will see trade displays, club stands and model shops to spend some money on some brilliant toys

Re: Scottish italian car day 2008.

Almost forgot. I have double checked the days and it is on sunday the 25th. i hope to see lots of people there.

rsvp here if you have not already done so:

Come on, surprised about the lack of interest for the convoy.

Hi there

Craigtoun Park has a strict 'no dogs' policy. I went up there for a family day out a few weeks after last years SICD and was not allowed in with the dog.

Hi,

I should be going to this, maybe meet up with some of you on the road down.

I will be leaving Montrose and traveling through to Forfar then down to Dundee.
If you let me know where you are meeting most people i would meet you then convoy down from there.

Discus nearer the time!

Regards,

Bob

Re: Scottish italian car day 2008.

Hi ransoman,it seems the latest update for sun 25th for meeting the Dundee folk is to head over the Tay bridge (to Fife side),take the left turnoff to Tayport/Newport,and then left into the carpark for 09:30,so if people still want to meet at Mc Donalds carpark at Forfar junction about 09:00 to 09:15 and head down to the muster point, that `ll be great.

(hope I`m not jumping in on anyones plans).
Andy.
