Just found Roswell's recent posting on an old thread that i did sort of introduce myself with ages ago!! Forgot all about that one and its reminded me that i have actually had the 155 for nigh on ten years now not 8? Well they do say time flies when you're having fun

Hi all been a prowler on this site for ages but i have never introduced myself... sorry.
My name is David,
I live in Darlington and approaching 40 from the wrong side.
And i have a passion for Italian cars.
I have owned Alfa,s for getting on 11 years heres a list for those who care.
1988 Silver/gold 33 ti... great carbs.
1995 red 146 boxer..... good noise and better built.
1997 purple 155 ts ..... touring car dreams.
1999 red 146 ts ......... speed and looks.
2001 silver 156 ts ...... the best one yet.
Plus there is my runabouts to keep the miles off the Alfas.
White Fiat uno. diesel.... brake system rusted to bits.
Red Cinquecento 899 ... managed to crash this one.
Red Cinquecento sporting. so far so good.
Well there you go i guess i have the bug.
Done the member of A.R.OC thing and met a good many people at the Ram side, We have been to a few Alfa days and soaked up the eye candy.
So if you see a 156 2ltr Veloce give me a flash or the old Alfa wave.

Probably my dad you saw then. I dont get much time to drive it now with living and working in gateshead. Its got a private plate on it so you'll know if its mine - DAB ***S

Well it was Yorkshire Alfa oc who hosted it at Bridlington. And summer it was not it.
14th of May and it was blummen freezing.

Hi all. Two weeks into 156 ownership. Bought a 1.8 Sw from a gentleman in Newton Aycliffe, unseen, off Ebay. Now residing in Blyth.

I loved it when I got it, but after a little open wallet surgery at Lyles it's brilliant.

The Alfa wave seems to be a foreign concept around Newcastle!
