About 5.15pm? Cant have been you - I flashed (so to speak) the driver of the aforementioned grey vehicle who looked non-plussed.

Well I was definitely on the roads at about that time on the way back from the cinema at Teesside Park.
Where exactly did you see 'me'?

Roswell -
Assume you're heading back to Aycliffe, and the Technicolour Dream Coat that I saw was on the single carriageway stretch of road after the roundabout about half a mile after The Burtree - the one that always floods and has horrendous pot-holes.

I know.
Your car is neither green nor silver, nor indeed a combination of both...

re: Spotted, Was That You?
got a wave from a lovely 159 SW as I was exiting Northallerton - Darlo bound.
I'd been for a day out in Harrogate - some nice Brera's hanging about there (outnumbered by the Aston's mind).

Is there actually anything to do in Harrogate? Does it have a cheese museum?

re: Spotted, Was That You?
I was going Northbound on the A19 just South of Middlesbrough Thursday morning. I was in the left hand lane, doing 70mph as there was a Police car 3 cars ahead of me.. A big black 159 was coming storming up behind me, so I stuck my arm out of the window and waved it up and down manically..
He tucked in behind and gave a little flash. A mile or so later, as the road splits to the A66, he went in the left hand lane to Stockton and I went in the right hand lane to Middlesbrough. I just managed to catch the rear of his car, it was a 3.2 V6 Q4 saloon
Was it you?

Weekend toy: Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver with red leather, Q2 diff, GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake, BMC CDA, decat pipe and SuperSprint rear box, FK coilovers, Dastek Unichip - my 245bhp beast!
Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Vela Blu, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!

well, i wrote to Harrogate town council with a strongly worded missive about their absolute lack of cheese-related facilities. They responded (after TWO weeks, mind!!!) to advise me that they did have some history in the provision of water.
Naturally I was intrigued. So we went to visit. In my mind I had conceived of something like the geysers in Yellowstone Park or perhaps the falls at Niagora.
What a letdown!

re: Spotted, Was That You?
Well I've had an abundance of Alfas this afternoon. 1st one was a blue 156 on the roundabout by Asda on Portrack. ThenI saw a black 145 next to Jewson's on Junction Road, next a red (well, pink) 146Ti followed me into Tesco carpark & finally, I parked next to a very tidy looking silver 156 SW. I'm exhausted!!!
