one last hurrah before the weather sets in
Lads,
We are fortunate enough to live in one of the most wonderful places on earth. North, South, East and West we have wonderful driving roads, bacon butties and bonny lasses with no concept of insulating clothing.
Something else we are fortunate enough to have are lovely italian motor cars with faults, foibles and MOT failures.....but we still love them.
Let's now determine to have a last shindig before Christmas. How about a weekend this month? It doesn't have to be epic in distance. It doesn't have to be everything to everyone. Hell, by now I think we know the craic in this area is spot on. We spent an hour pishing ourselves in Reeth this summer talking absolute rollocks. I loved that.
So.....my suggestion is a short-ish run. Some bait. Some photos. And a laugh.
Can I also say.....I know I'm slightly stepping on the toes of Geoff (Roswell). For that, apologies. He is the person primarily responsible for running this show since the wheels could have come off a few years back. He's a top bloke and I would rather like to buy him a pint.

I could well be up for this though it might have to be soon as my bella seems to be self destructing one part at a time.

Gingerbread will likely have a better braking surface than my current metal on metal setup.

What an inspiring call to rally the troops! I'm there if I can, although I am away a fair bit in October. I haven't been out with you guys for bleedin' ages now and not at all since taking delivery of my current AR.
