Service I am not used to!

Called Alexanders yesterday for a price on a new rear silencer box. They gave a price and after I got up off the floor offered a decent discount so I ordered one. It would be there Fri they said, and would call and confirm. Imagine my surprise when I got a call at 10 Fri morning saying the part had arrived.

I was surprised on 2 counts...

1 That Alfa had a part I needed in this country, and
2 That the dealer called to say it had arrived!

I didnt know buying Alfa parts could be as easy as this.

Big thumbs up to them though, excellent service.

Oh and they said the MiTo is selling well

Re: Service I am not used to!

Agreed.

I don't like using dealers as a rule, but the cost of a service was £109.00, which included 10w60 oil, plus a genuine Alfa filter and added to that I got a 2.2 Spider for the day.

The "service" was exemplary" too - everything was done on time and I even got a call beforhand to tell me all was well. A far cry from Reg Vardy's!

when you told me about the 100 quid 10/60 service i realised i was laughing maniacally - having paid 70 quid for sheeite not long back (and doing me own oil)

they won't give me a spider because they know i would never return

Re: Service I am not used to!

Ha!

Whilst the spider looked the dogs danglies (and irritated the neighbours no end), it was actually quite uncomfortable and noisy. Not that I'd reject one in favour of an ageing Cloverleaf of course.

Spotted the servicing offer here;

Not quite sure what a "collant" system is, but I don't think my car has one!!

You should pay more attention to detail rather than gossiping in the corridors at work...............

Initially yes, but we moved to a more public domain.

Posting Police ahoy! We'll get told off for being childish.
