It's quiet in here

Are we all still mourning the loss of BMC?

Well...........I'm not sure but obviously the closure of BMC is very worrying taking into account of the alarming regularity which I've had to rely on their services during Alfa ownership. I'll probably end up "keeping it in the family" so to speak.

Re: It's quiet in here

GTV's - hairdressers - somehow I think not!!!!!!

Most hairdressers seem to run around in Merc SLK's or BMW 3 series convertibles - failing that MR2's!!!!!

I'll sell you my GTV! (at a price)

Re: It's quiet in here

Any decent bodyshop I would imagine.

You know where Miller Motorcycle training school is - Albert Hill Trading Estate, off North Rd more or less opposte the B+Q traffice lights?

On those units, just over the bridge there's a bodyshop and the owner has a 156. Same colour as yours too.

Don't recall the name of the place but it'll be easy to find.

Honestly, with a banger you'd be surprised how cheap motoring can be.

Banger: £400
Insurance: £350
Cost in fuel to do 600 miles: £55*

The shame of running around in a clapped-out old Mondeo on veg oil - priceless

*Which is as expensive as averaging 64.5mpg out of a normally-fuelled diesel.
