I'm planning on going, it will be nice to meet everyone and to put names to faces.

I've even got the wife interested, even though she's a bit nervous of thrashing around a track.

Nice one! You could come and put faces to names at The North East Meet (North East Meet) tomorrow night too.

Tell her not to worry, the instructors are very encouraging - after a few laps one said to Ms Pesci, "if you don't brake when I tell you to next lap, the next sound you will hear is the door opening and me jumping out."

Only problem I found with the instructors last year at Knockhill was that every one of 'em seemed to have differing ideas about the proper racing line.

Yes. There were a few there last year.

But I think the official answer if you ask the Cloverleaf people is 'no'.

I think those that were there last year just turned up and stood at the pit wall etc.

I've just had conformation that the Giulia will be on display - just need to get the old girl back after her work and paint - see you all there on the 17th of Sept.

The session time is 11.30-5.30 but I expect the first couple of hours will be lunch and a safety briefing. I reckon if we should be there for 11.00.

I'm working 3-11 that week. I've taken a lieu day for the Wednesday. I'll see if I can get a shift swap for the Tuesday.
