I'm probably going to organise a pub meet for the second week in July.

You'd be more than welcome to join us at Yorkshire Alfa Day on Sunday.

Just been having a look through some of your previous posts, you're the guy I pass quite regularly!

I work in Blyth so I tend to pass you on the A1016

So keep youyr eyes peeled for a blue 155

As for a meet I'll do my best

Never been stalked before! Should I be excited or worried?

Can't make Sunday, too many WITs (wife imposed tasks).

Re: Next North East meeting

And thereby lies the problem; some of us find it difficult to attend meetings during the week because we work shifts or because we have families to attend to and some of us refuse to attend on a Sunday night because Top Gear starts again next week!!

Re: Next North East Meeting

How about midweek then? Can I suggest Wednesday 9th July? We could meet at The Church Mouse as usual and if it’s a nice night maybe have a run out for half an hour.

Still fretting.

Where will it go the next time somethin breaks (which will no doubt be imminent)?

I think it's time to turn Japanese and save a few quid on the constant and inevitable repair bills.

Re: Next North East Meeting

If our Civic is anything to go by, let me recap.......

2 new front tyres, front pads and rear exhaust section in 4 yrs (£250 or so) compared to an endless list of failed parts and expensive replacements at a cost of over £2250 in 3 years.

Balls to that too.

Re: Next North East Meeting

A Type R might change your mind - and Honda have a very strong sporting heritage (in recent decades much more competative than Alfa).

As for servicing the Alfa - what bothers me is the potential for returning to the arms of thieves and scoundrels that I left behind when I discovered BMC.
