Help, most front suspention I've done, require the top nut on the shox 2 be undone with the weight of the car on it. the shox located in a slotted hole in top cup.
I take it's not so with the 155 as allen key fitting in thread.
What's best way 2 do this ??????
........on the edge of confusion...Narlo.....

I did it with the weight on the car. Used a socket and ratchet to remove the big nut. The weight on the wheel stopped the shocker from turning. If it does turn, you will have to hold the socket with a pair of grips and insert an Allen key and do it that way. Hopefully shouldn't need to though. I did it with the Allen key when tightening up though, then dropped the car and tightened further with the ratchet. Make sense ????

Mxer, you want the supersprint center section (which is straight throu with no silencers) and back box
can be got from the likes of Demontweeks or Larkspeed or other places like that
I can't remember what the part number is so be aware that there is two center section syles, one with and one without

Hope this helps

BTW it does make a difference to the power and that lovely Alfa sound :D

I don't have 1 or 2 on mine (155 2.016v), just the back box. Definately allows the engine to breath easier, most noticable lower down the rev range. There is an increase in noise though which is to be expected. I like it, some people don't.

Speedy, totally made up m8, grining like an idiot :D
when I 1st put rears on came down 20mm, put fronts on came down nearly 15mm (so sportpacks must be -15mm), seems like its come down more since.
Handling transformed, v6 springs suit 16v purfik .
me front shox seem fine, rear shox a little tired, hardly any roll, apart from back , could be why Im getting oversteer on the limit, yeee haaaa!!! :D :D
Can't understand why apex springs not rated higher  not harsh just harder.
......many thanx......Narlo.......

Narlo Cheers for the top tips, Thinking of cutting and shaping my oringinal exhaust but a little bit paraniod of not being able to go back on my self, what is it like it's not too loud is it?. Ive also got a full fireblade exhaust system to throw in the mix so you can see im abit torn between 1 or 2 silencers plus back box, 1 silencer plus blade end or both silencers and blade end, i don't know it will proberly end up sounding like a hungerian tractor, keep you posted
P.S Can't wait to see the Narlo trade mark stelth de-cat

Any help on a tow bar would be fantastic, I need to get out on my bike the misses is doing me nut in please heeeeeeeellllp
