Reseting mile counter (non trip) (147)

Stupid question this...

Under the mileage display on the 147 there is the wee counter that counts to 1000 miles and then goes back to 0.

How do I reset this to zero manually? I just cant find the button to do it.

I'm not referring to the trip computer functions, as I know how to operate those.

On the console (below the steering wheel) are the buttons with up/down arrow, menu and "Km".

Its the Km button you are looking for.

This does the following:

1. Press & hold for about 4-5 seconds: resets the counter under the milage counter to 0.

2. Press & hold for about 7-10 seconds: will cancel the lighting of the dash/dials except for the speedo....

Yep, that's the one. It works really easily on my 147. I notice though that the counter goes to zero only when you take your finger off the button ,not while holding it. So, be sure to take you finger off the button before 7-10 secs or you'll change the light settings on the dash.
