Guys,
I've searched the forum and can't find the exact answer to the cambelt change intervals on a 2010 159 2.0 JTDM.
Some say 90,000 some say 60,000?
Does anyone know for sure?
Many thanks.
The official Alfa scheduled change (believe that if you will) for the 2.0 is exactly the same as the other diesels, ie. 84k (gulp) or 5 yrs - or 4 yrs for use in 'harsh conditions'.
I changed my belt and pump and tensioners, etc, on my 2008 2.4L at 138000 ks (87000 miles) here in NZ. The pump, belt, etc, still looked and felt good, but I was not going to risk it, so did the whole lot. The manual says 150000ks (93000 miles) and/or 5 years. Do not forget that diesels run at lower revs than petrol, so the gear lasts a bit longer.
