I am loving the 1.7 in the sud. It has so much power its almost ridiculous but I have a slight problem with the brakes. I was on the motorway and came over a crest and there was heavy traffic. I brakes heavily and it locked up and the whole car shot into the other lane and almost did a 360. Luckily there were no cars in the other lane otherwise goodbye sud and maybe me
What could be causing the brakes to lock up? The system is bled properly as the brake light doesn't flicker. Would it be the brake compensator in the rear?
Yeah its really annoying because I will have to pay double for that part elsewhere. I was hoping to get it sorted so I could drive it before the bad weather arrives. It may have to wait until next summer now
How easy should it be to push the piston up?
Should it push easily or does it have a strong spring in behind it?
I cannot move mine by pushing by hand. I've got the feeling behind my piston is full of crap
