Hi all,

This kind of thread works well on several other forums I use and often sparks some great discussions / ideas. Just post up what it is you've done and feel free to comment on others posts, but be nice

Today - tracking set to zero toe as recommended on here. Needed doing as it's taken the inside edges off the fronts.

Had the left door strap changed (because here the driver seat is in the left side...), made a special blend of engine cleaning stuff, made a new remap, testdrove the car and made a forced REGEN and now the cars goes like a rocket :)
Today I will work more on the remap and maybe fit my new Blaupunkt Shark-antenna with integrated GPS (or at least ask a friend to do it for me :) )

Woke up another year older, maybe wiser, its TBC on that front, but woke up to the best cake ever & a totally awesome set of gifts, including a gift and card from my Alfa!

This is my cake:
Emblem Cake Symbol Fashion accessory Cup

This is my gift pack:
Cake Technology Electronics Electronic device Room

The card from the Alfa accompanied the large picture, and came with the following message inside:
Font Text Calligraphy Photography Brand
Text Font Material property Number

What I have learned from today:

1) I clearly have a serious problem in the form of my Alfa Ownership, and need to join a group, oh wait, i think I have.
2) My wife & daughter have a solid sense of irony and clearly love me enough to support my addictions.

Jay, Happy b-day...
Last Dec 2012 I got the same cake...
Thoughtful presents:cool:

Happy Birthday Jay :)
Belated happy birthday - another fellow Aquarian

Related to this thread - I changed my front windscreen wipers this morning for silky smooth no-more-judderness...:D
Happy Birthday Jay, seems like they know you well!

Less enjoyable this end, picked up a puncture on the M42, shard of metal through my tyre, wheel was corroded to the hub, so had to call in the AA (and got abused by a passing van driver and told to 'learn how to change a tyre! Cheeky sod!).
Luckily, or ironically, have booked into to get the tyre replaced tomorrow as it was low on tread (no doubt contributed to the puncture).

On a more positive note, managed an average of 62mpg on the way back! :)

Genuine thanks for all the birthday wishes !!! :)

Along with the new intake manifold its made a huge difference, it goes like a train.

Just a bit more info required pease,.

I've discover some new quality B roads to take me from home to my workplace in Solihull.

It just happens to take me past a high end Mclaren dealership in Hockley Heath & Johnsons Fiat & Alfa in Dorridge:D

Its may be possible to split it in situ but its really not worth it. By the time you have removed all the stuff bolted to the back of the manifold just to get to the bolts that hold it together you have only about 8 pins left to remove the manifold completely.

Just changed the front and rear Alfa badge logos. I purchased them through eBay at Italy and fit absolutely perfect. Both for about 30 euro.
Just remove the old ones, clean rests of adhesive and stick the new ones on. Exactly the same as factory ones, in fact I believe they are original.

To do list:

-Fit original "Design by Giugiaro" stickers at the front wings, someone removed them when the car was painted. 9 euro both at the dealer.
-Isolate and correct windshield wind noise,
-Correctly fit rear seat (broken plastic clips). Already purchased, now find the time to fit them
-Put original mat clips for the driver's mat so it doesn't get engaged with the clutch pedal
-Install a Dension or similar aux. in interface: any other way to do that if I only require analog aux in, nor MP3, SD, etc.? Mine has the factory Connect Nav navigator+mp3.
-Remove the front roof courtesy light and find why the hell it is rattling, always.

You finally decided which you were going for then, don't forget your 4 wheel alignment when you found some more pennies under your seat.

Changed the front lower grilles to stop the FMIC mod being quite so obvious
