Saw Stephen's blog on "Who's got the highest mileage on their 166 on the forum" and thought it might be interesting to compare with the 159 which has only been going since 2006, petrol OR Diesel, mine's a 2007 1.9 JTDm Lusso Sportwagon, 1 Company owned F.S.H. and just on 95,000 (but looks and drives like half that!) anyone over the 100,000 yet and if so how's it performing?

85k on mine, just replaced both nearside wheel bearings, rear brake pads done at the same time. EGR was replaced under warranty at about 48k. I have since had it remapped and the EGR disabled. I changed the water pump and belts last year at about 70 odd K. Power steering reservoir changed also. Apart from that it has only been tyres and service. The interior still looks great and when polished up it's still a stunning car. Shame the paint was a bit soft but I don't notice the chips so much now. 07 plate and the mpg is always over 40 since the remap. Sometimes it's over 50 but that's only on long motorway. I took her to Germany last month, Oxfordshire to Trier on just over half a tank. Fantastic.

What engine and what remap...what dark magic that mpg sounds incredible.

Im on 88,000, owned it a few months, cleaned EGR, two new wishbones (upper and lower same side), new alternator, needs a handbrake cable and the fly wheel is been replaced as I speak. Not the best car in the world.

But I'm still smiling.

106k with tuning from Gus at Alfatune which I wish I had done when I first purchased the car. Thanks Gus for the new turbo and re map.
Service scheduled which is just an interim one (oil and filters) which I do every 10k anyway.
Only issue now is the whining from I hope the DMF/Clutch and not the gearbox, it's been like that now since about 92k and I think it's starting to slip though not tested it. Trying to keep the revs above the 1500k so as not to apply to much low down torque on the DMF.
mpg is about 42mpg on avg getting 550 to 600 out of the full tank :D

My 2.4 has just 49,700 on the clock , bought it last Sept at 46,500 . A 2009 ti model in Alfa Red . Serviced at 42,000 according to it's records but I did it myself after buying.
So far ---
Fitted a tow bar
Oil/filter change
Cleaned and greased all undertray threaded insert bolts
Two rear side light bulbs
Remap + EGR delete DPF emptied
Both rear springs cracked/possibly already before buying it (Bilstein B6+Eibach prokit springs ordered)
PLANNED next -- Powerflex adjustable upper/lower bushes then alignment.

Mileage

Just gone through 79,000 miles in my 1.9 SW. I've had it for 2 and a half years and bought it with 49,000 miles. In that time I have replaced

The light above rear number plate £1.50
cable snapped for rear electric window £200 fitted

Apart from servicing and tyres nothing else, bring on the next 79,000 :)

My GT's now at 156000 and I've just had the super heavy clutch and DMF replaced by my local Alfa dealer. It set me back a Grand, however that was only £40 more than Mr Clutch and I got a Guiletta for the weekend while they did it.
It's now lovely and light and more of a pleasure to drive than ever.
I'm going for the 200000.

Sorry to bump this thread, just wondering if there are many more 159's out there on the roads now a few years down the line?

Only just bought mine with only 42K on the clock but I aim to put another 120K on I cover long motorway miles.

Read a lot lately about the infamous M32 box trouble and I need a little morale boosting as I hope I haven't bought a money pit. Reading this thread has cheered me up :biglaugh:
