Hi Mark, did you get any feedback on this? I have just purchased an OMP strut brace that is suppossed to fit my 1.9JTd but one of the reservoirs mounted to the aft bulkhead is in the way and I'm wondering if anyone else has found the same problem and if so, what they did to get around it.

Cheers

Hello mark and mac,

When the upper brace went on my sportwagon, we found the filler for the power steering reservoir was covered; two options; either fit longer mounting bolts and spacers or live with the fact you need to undo the mounting nuts when you top up the fluid. You could try Alfastumper for some sexy options :alloy, carbon fibre etc( which might also solve this issue), or ultra racing do some very nice braces worth a look. I also have an unfitted lower front brace if that is of interest; yours at cost (£50 plus p+p)!

Hope that helps

Just called UltraRacing but they don't supply for the GT. AlfaStumper is a bit expensive at £150 for the stainless strut and a 12 week lead time. I sent an email to StrutBracer.co.uk since they have no known telephone number (now I'm worried) and I've asked them to comment on the fitting issue and whether anyone else has highlighted this problem so I'll see if I get a response.

Cheers guys
