Phew, a long day doing bits to the spider, only meant to swap the side repeaters, next changed the grill for my ph2 with new badge, then went for the HID kit, then swapped for flat blade wipers, then swapped to colour coded mirrors, then removed the resonator and used a straight carbon pipe, when i can drill out the old screws i will pop in the K&N, then i found £1.51 under the seat, then i replaced all the fuses (must have been last Sundays torrential rain causing the problems) swapped over the dash buttons as mine were better, thought i would see why it had no air bag light, yup, bulb removed, just swapped over the complete clock set, ha, now i have to sort the airbag light....decided to work out why the bumper gap was wrong, ah now i see, passenger 'iron' has snapped, changed that, still needs adjusting, i will leave it soaked in wd40 before i attenpt to raise the height, then i tried my anthracite 17" selespeeds on, have to admit i am sticking with the originals............next up is to swap the complete exhaust and all the locks and ignition, key box, antenna, ecu, that then gives me a free flowing exhaust with sports cat and an Alfatune reworked ecu with 2 keys and the master.
Oh and prep my old 8v 155 for its pre-mot on Monday..............

I would have done much more, only i had to put all the parts i removed from the spider back onto the GTV..

Quick edit....
Did a search and see its a complete ball ache to adjust these ! Seems its a case of taking the irons off and then soaking/heating them to loosen the adjuster bolts that will be seized. Doing in situ can run the risk of braking the irons?

I see you found the info then....:)

Hi mate, have the same problem with my front bumper. Had the irons checked and tighted up as they were loose but still doesnt fit flush....it droops ! What do i need to do to raise the height at the front ?Do you have any photos? Assume there's bolts somewhere which are the ones youre soaking in wd40 to loosen? Many thanks

Not much done today, being lazy, changed the boot lock and badge, i will complete the job when i find where the circlip 'pinged' .......

Removed springpan, eibach spring and rear suspension arm, the springpan is refurbished with poly's and the arm is only 18mths old so should nicely tighten up the back, then removed the same from the spider and popped the good stuff in..

Removed the manifold, aircon pump and bracket (4' wrecking bar) wiper motor and linkages from the GTV..

Now big cuppa and a splendid strawberry and cream cake..:)

Finally got the top of the airbox, now has a K & N filter in there, popped new shocks on the back + new arms and polybushed springpans ( total pita of a job) cleaned up all the brake pipes as well..:)
