Birth are good and will last lot longer than some crap stuff, I have had parts fitted from the above GSF store and to be honest they were rubbish and did not last 10000 miles and I will surely avoid them in future. Upper wishbones only lasted around 9000 miles and were noisy, fitted birth parts from shop4parts over 15000 miles and still doing good with no noises, it also depends on the quality of work to be honest.
Although many parts and workmanship is and may have been warranted... Its a real shame you didnt speak to me about things, i hope all and everyone is well...
Just found out my last lower wishbones were replaced 4 years ago. They must be well gone as they are from jpr motors (ebay) and cost me £95 for the pair!
I replaced lower wishbones with the Birth ones today and while I was there I replaced track rods and track rod ends on both sides as its best to do them in pairs. The drivers side track rod was gone.
Not been out in it yet, I need tracking doing but its Bank Holiday. Will have to wait until Tuesday now. Not sure of ride height yet as it needs to settle in, its 2 fingers from wheel arch to tyre.
Mine shocks are the originals ... Bilstein's as fitted to SportPack models ... think they may be a bit lower than in '98 but still working!
