GTV & Saris bones bike rack? (or others)

Hi all,

After making the excellent decision not to sell my GTV and get something more practical (would always have been an Alfa though) I have decided to make the GTV more practical. Got a car seat for the niece and next I need to get a couple of bikes on. I know the Hollwood B3 is supposed to fit, as is the Saris bones. I've found a decently priced Bones 2 but want to see how anyone has got on with them, any damage? Do the cover the lights with bikes on?
Also has anyone tried the Saris Sentinel? Substantially cheaper and looks like it might fit.

Cheers

A mate of mine has a saris bones on his mazda rx8, not a too disimilar boot, and really rates it

The Bones 3 fits perfectly on my Spider (it also fit my Fiat 500 and 939 Spider really well). I reckon you will have no problems on a GTV:

It clears the lights / number plate no problems at all and also no problems with stability.

I recommend it.

Is there a danger that the one above rests right in the middle of the boot. If the rack shakes around will that not cause some damage to the boot.
Here are some pick of mine withe the Hollywood F3 Baja. Has been great for many years now. It's supposed to be able to carry 3 bikes but I've only ever used it for 2. Rack rests right at the top of the boot and onto the bumber.

Hopefully it will be fine, I've paid for it now anyway so there's no going back. Having said that I got it cheaper than it's worth so I won't lose money if it doesn't fit. Also I've got the Aero kit and this rack is the only one I've ever seen pictured on a GTV Aero. I'll post back with my findings.
