I'm quite pleased to be honest... I've spent a good few hundred quid on the car since I got it in November, but I was still convinced that it was going to fail.
I've had new upper and lower wishbones fitted, drop links, rack ends, track rod ends, wheel bearings (all near and off side front), and an auxiliary belt and tensioner fitted since I've had it, but it's still got an annoying knock. The MOT tester said everything was tight, and it was in brilliant condition for a car that had done over 122500 miles.
I won't rest until it's 100000000000% right though.
It's probably the a/r bar bushes then. But double check the upper wishbones aren't loose on the long mounting bolt. Mine was and after I changed the bolt I realised the upper shock mounting was also worn.
I might get the upper shock mounting changed anyway as well as a new ARB. May as well get it all done, stop all this troubleshooting molarky.
