3.0 v6 front wheel drive turbo !!! thats dangerous its going to torque steer like mad.. i think the maximun a front wheel drive car can handle is 250bhp
I had a 300bhp Fiat Coupe Turbo (heavily tuned). It handled the power very well. Even an instructor who drove it around Mallory commented how well it handled the extra horses. As the GTV is basically the same as a Coupe at the front (and much more advanced at the rear) I think a turbo conversion would work well. I'm thinking the conversion would be an unbelievably expensive and complicated job though.
You can definitely turbo your GTV 3.0.
Don’t touché the motor just ad a turbo and intercooler with 0.4bar boost you will be making more than 300whp reliably. A T3T4 hybrid turbo with external waste gate will be perfect.
Don’t change the stock ECU just ad a standalone unit with injector for fueling.
Not sure about shipping but we can help you with a flange to mount the turbo pictures of the pipes and the stand alone management with wiring and instructions how to connect it as well as a base map which will be fine although a bit riche.
1000cc bosch injector, turbo, waste gate, intercooler and pipes will be more effective to source on jour side.

my fiat coupe 20vt is at 220bhp..i fitted a gtech2 chip and my bhp went upto 270bhp.. but made my clutch slip ! so u will also need to upgrade your clutch
hi
this sounds good bud thing is its getting the parts and knowing some one to build this set up and install it etc time i have done that then maybe a super charger but auto delt dont sound that bad but turboing the alfa is a very nice idea and i think i getting a nice rebate so its all going on my alfa
Depending on the rubber you are using.
With a Q2 and 225’s you should do the ¼ mile in the low 13’s high 12’s with the top speed limited by your gearing so with a GTV 3.0 it will be more than 270km/h.
The 2.0 with a turbo will be faster than a stock GTA
me handy hmm... not really i do have a friend with a vauxhall nova at near 400 bhp and he knows his stuff as he built this him self so maybe ill have to twist his arm a massive bit lol
hey
lets just say i got super happy and got light fly wheel and clutch kit cams and chipped up too plus q2 what power gains am i thinking about as thread i seen b4 i want to eat m3's for breakfast thing is i got my alfa for a mega cheap price so even if i spent like 4 grand on it etc then i dont plan to sell my alfa and probley wont cause i have found a car that has alot of passion like my self
With what you mentioned plus exhaust and higher CR you should be on par with a 3.2.
Go the turbo rout and get it over with +\- 300whp and you do not even touché the engine internals and low boost.
If you get adventurous and turn the boost to 0.7bar which it will easily take you should be making in the region of 350whp.
Whats the best/cheapest way to get the compression down to fit a turbo and anyone know what the standard CR of the V6 is?
Decompression plate and two gaskets? Machining the combustion chamber or changing the crank stroke? or dished pistons?
All seem like they would be a bit pricey
Do not change the cr just put the turbo on
Stock is 10 on the 3.0 and a bit more on the 2.5 and 3.2.
We are boosting the 156 2.5 0.6bar with stock cr and management just a 1000cc injecto for fueling
