:lol:Good old Veloces, keen on price as ever £9k is a bit rich.
Obviously used the mileage adjustment table out of Glasses Guide.
I like the RECAROE seats, trimmed in Reca Roe ? could smell fishy.

Yep, always whack a massive value on rarer cars. Well known for it :(
£9k is very steep! :wow:

The engine bay looks extremely fresh and the car probably cost near on £30k new. For the money you would expect to to be effectively new/mint and showing little sign of use. You still see people trying to sell similar age/much higher mileage examples for half that, dunno if they sell though.

''Never to be repeated''... lets hope not at £9k for a 9 year old car hey

However there's no denying it does look mint, even in the engine bay, just a shame there's no interior shots?

For the right money that would be a great car to own though! (Belt changes would have to be done though)

it might have low mileage but most things rubber will probably still need replaced e.g cambelt and the bushes r probably corroded too by now. i think they've been a tad ambitious with that price!
My parents had a car like this, was 10 years old but had done 9,000 miles. Within two weeks of day to day driving the whole of the braking system had to be replaced due to all the rubber perishing and certain bits siezing which ended up costing half as much as the car to repair, then all the suspension bushes had to be changed within a few months for the same reason. Needless to say, pa wasnt happy!

I can't understand you lot! That is a practically "new" V6 GTV!! Look at the engine bay!! If it had just sat rotting then ok, but this has been well looked after and is now ready to enjoy!! Worth every penny!!

Agree with everything you've said apart from the price... But I guess it comes down to what someones willing to pay.

For me if I really wanted one, maybe £5-£6k would seem more realistic

i see where ur coming from but i wouldnt own a car if i only did an average of 1k miles a year in. most gtvs have 60-100k miles because they've been enjoyed and im sure everyone on here loves to drive there gtv thats why they own it. its obviously been a car collector of some sort thats owned this and fair play to him if thats what he likes to do. i just cant see anyone paying 9k for it. as said i think 6-7k would be more reasonable.

For that someone who really wants a mint example and is prepared to pay more than the average price, that's a great find. I'm sure £8k could get it, so it's that or a late P3 with say 40k on the clock. Which would you go for?

#21 ·
yeah exactly. You spend £9k on it, really enjoy it for a year and put an average 20-40k on it in 2 years and hey presto it's suddenly only worth 3.5k (or less!)

Now i know Alfa's depreciation is infamous, but that's just taking the *******

In Australia youd pay that much for a car with 10 times the mileage on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cars are 3 times more expensive over here.

If someone really wants the car then just offer a lower price on it and just get a feel of where their bottom price is - plus I dont like the colour.

Some silly (with respect) arguments there. Cars depreciate, fact. The point is, with this car, you are getting a "new" car experiance for less than half the price of new.

Went to see it this morning. Very good example!! Drove well and was immaculate except for some small stone chips, but lets be honest what GTV does not have these? Was sorely tempted. Only one problem............the original buyer specified the sunroof so there was not head room, was gutted. By the way how many of you have GTVs with the Recaro Electric seats?? Never seen them before and seem a little unnecessary
