Ok guys and gals,

I had my Bella in yesterday for her 100.000 km service.

Got new brake discs and calipers. I felt this judder when braking at high speeds. It brakes like a Porsche now....well....sort of wink

Also got two new front tires: Pirelli P6. Have to say that my first impression is that they are MUCH better than the P6000 I had before. I didn't get the ASR light on when taking of compared to the P6000 (where it was on all the time!). Is the P6 better than the P6000?

Further more I got a new rear screen whiper and of course the complementary extra liter AGIP oil wink

Oh yeah, and my dealer ordered a new electric motor for the drivers side window as he couldn't figure out why my window sometimes doesn't operate. This was discussed earlier and Schrodinger (if I remember correctly) already told that she had the same problem and after replacing the motor, the problem didn't re-appear anymore.

Up to 120.000 now wink

My new 1983 Alfetta GTV 2.0 came with 195 * 60 * 15 Pirelli P6 tyres. Maybe they have updated them eek! :D

I thought that P6 then P600 then P6000
Not that P600 exist anymore. I replaced the P6s with P600s on the GTV.

personally I find it difficult to work out which pirelli tyre is better than another within a category. Rather dreadfull internet site frown

Stori,

On the Pirelli site the P6000 and the P6 are on the same pages. So I guess they're actually not replacing each other, but are sold as two different tyres. The P6000 has asymetrical thread, whereas the P6 has a symmetrical thread. It's like the P6000 are intermediates and the P6 are rain tyres. Someone any info?

I suspect that what happened in Australia was that when the P600 came out, the P6 was dropped from the Australian Range.

I notice that Australian's cannot buy the P6 anymore but only P4000, P5000, P6000 series

I also notice drom Pirelli's Australian site that the only supposedly high performance tyre that is available are
PZero Asimmetrico
Pzero Directionale
P7000 and only the P7000 is available in 215 *45*17 so no Pirelli next time

currently have Pzero Nero

Designed for the latest generation of estate, Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPV) and saloon cars where comfort, high speed stability and safety are the essential requirements for travelling. P6 increases steering and braking precision, incorporating exclusive, innovative features to enhance the level and duration of performance.

Hey what is this? I don't drive an estate (not yet wink ), or an MPV eek! Ahh....my 147 must be a saloon then wink

Have my 147 fitted with the P7s already. I think that its a very good combination of performance and comfort. Has similar thread with the P zero rosso. If u like sportier performance I would say take a look at the P 5000 Drago. Great tyre!
