Actually, 30mph is the only place where the speedo is accurate. It reads low under 30, and high above. For example with the speedo reading 107 (cruise), I got clocked doing exactly 100 km/h. Unfortunately, it was in a 60km/h zone.
Other thing I noticed: The keyfob window trick no longer works on the 147 FL models. :-(
I was given a "complimentary" litre of Selenia oil with a small funnel in a soft cover when I purchased my 159 in March and it was put into this velcro strap and is still there. The manual lives in the open driver side door compartment - it really is worth reading!!
I use my cruise control all the time. Well, I use the cruise control stalk. I hang a little air freshener off it. I understand it can be used to maintain a constant speed or somesuch, but I've never tried.
I recently discovered that one can adjust the sensitivity of the auto lights. I didnt use them before as it needed to be almost pitch black before they come on. Now they are on sensitive mode they come on when a seagull flys over. mmmmmmm
just found a daft button on the end of the indicator stalk... all it does is increase/decrease the brightness of the display... (I was rather hoping it was the passenger ejector seat release...)
NB does anyone else keep trying to indicate left or right using the cruise control stalk or is it just me being a muppet?
Umm, go to the menu on the on baord computer and scroll through the options. i think there are 3 sensitivity settings. On the most sensitive set they will come on in short tunnels and even if there is sustained driving under dark tree cover. So good for the woods.

you mean the "night mode" they stole from saab? )
too bad it doesnt turn off the head unit and ac controls, and you still get the green/blue headlight light on.
I have found - with the electric memory seats - you can set one or both door mirrors to tilt down automatically when reverse gear is engaged. Find this good for the nearside mirror, but after a while it sems to "forget" and have to reset it again. O the pains of modern motoring.
I find cruise control brilliant, as we have a lot of road works with average speed checks. Hit 50 and turn on you don't have to keep an eye on the speedo while you navigate the mess they have made of the roads.
been using the auto mirror postion when reversing (put car in reverse gear and mirrors moves down on auto) but the puter defo forgets this setting after a few days.
I've reset it twice now and its just ignored reverse again... I give up, not great loss though, it was cool to show the girlfriend who, in fairness got bored after the me pointing it out for the 3rd time...
The trip computer is my latest target for investigation, its poo when compared to other cars but I guess it sort of does the job...
"I think" if you have the switch (which controls either left or right mirror adjustment) on the door in the middle setting the mirrors don't change in reverse - if you put the switch to the left it should work again...probably
