Help,
98 2.0 TS Spider

Driving to work this morning doing about 5000rpm I had sudden loss of power followed by the injector warning light appearing, This proceded to flash on every time I touched the accelerator. By the time i reached work the light is now on permanently,
Car is running OK, but I think in safe mode, I havent dared to test the acceleration to confirm this however. Light comes back on everytime I restart the engine.

Any advice on probable cause please!!!

Could be anything!! You need to get the car hooked up to a diagnostic computer to be able to download the info that is stored in the engine ecu. Any indepedent gargage should be able to do this for you, should cost about £20 - £30, main dealer will charge more.

It's probably the MAF...

OK so i have owned an Alfa for the some total of 2 days but ours is playing up (the guy unplugged it when he drove it to shoow us how well it went!)..

Just unplug it and see if the performance issue goes away - although obviously the light won't!
