Maybe by being concerned enough about it to post here shows that it may have been a bad idea... and the initial reaction seems to agree. Maybe red would be a safer option. Thanks guys. P.S. has anyone painted theres before? I've not seen a haynes manual for a GTV with instructions to remove and refit them?
What are the rims like. Blue car yellow brakes, sounds good to me. You'll get noticed.
I'm changing the family SW for the new 147 Collezione in white which I don't think comes with fancy callipers. I was thinking of painting them red like Brembos. I dont know whether it would be laughable or classy. I just know that white cars are transformed by nice brakes. Does anyone know how much a brembo brake upgrade (or similar) would be
Yellow is exactly what i had in mind too.
Am getting it done sometime int he future, one of the last things on my list. Set of groove disc avail from company on ebay, offer a black galvanised finish too. Will be pitching that against yellow with nice coat of lacquer, already bought my black decals.
I don't mind everyone's opinion but i do think it will look good yellow.
Already looks good with red, no reason why a simple minute contrast is going to ruin anything. have fun and all the best.
I think yellow will look class - its always nice to be different aswell. Im thinkin of the tarox 6 pot upgrade they are a blacky colour and i think look nice
Yellows look good until the black brake dust sticks to them, then they look a bit like dead wasps stuck there, never mind banana skins. Anyway, who with an Alfa, wants to emulate a Porker system look alike?
I was in a Halfords the other day and came across the paint... they had black, red and yellow. Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow i was asking myself..... Went for the safe option and choose Red. May get change to paint um whilst installing my strut bar next weekend )
