<---- As you can see, my spider is 'Verde Acido' - Acid Green.
I have been told that only 100 spiders were made in this colour, although I'm very prepared to accept that this could be nonsense. I now think the spider looks great in this colour but it's initial loudness took some getting used to. Lots of Italians commented on it during Europe road trip last summer (mostly 'Rosso, Rosso !')
I've seen one yellow spider, which looked great, really like that colour.
What colour is yours? and do you know of any rare colours? Anyone else have acido?
I've seen one other Spider in Acido, somewhere near the Trafford centre, Manchester. Never any GTV's though.
It is an acquired taste, but it does grow on you. At least it's (fairly) unique. Now I've got used to it I wouldn't change it and in certain situations/light it can look truly stunning. At least the original owner had the sense not to spec red leather!, the paintwork sets off the black leather quite nicely. I'll try to get some more pics uploaded.
It also has the dubious benefit that spilling antifreeze on the paintwork would probably have zero visual effect.
my fave is the kind of silver, kind of blue, kind of green colour!!!! pardon the technicality there, Ive no idea what its actually called, having only ever seen it on two cars, both gtv's, very cool!!!
I saw a very similar colour on a brand new v6 spider in an AR showroom (in Leeds I think) maybe 6 or 7 years ago, that colour was a bit more green though. Kind of a silvery hazy pearlescent pale green, no idea what the colour is called.
I like the colour, it's very very similar to the acido, in bright sunlight the acido looks almost the same. In all other light it's just like a 'greener' version of yours.
Well mines.......................blue....not sure what thye posh name for it is.....maybe moonlight blue??
Anyway i wanted a zoe yellow one but loved the blue one which i now have.... i love it just as the suns going down on a sunny day about 6.30..sje's looks beaut.
Never seen a Coventry Green, It looks similar to British Racing Green & I like it. Got any more pics ? The 3 x Acido sightings make me feel common as muck now
I too like the Zoe Yellow, wonder if the Mrs would let me have another.... :tut:
I saw a Nuvola Blue GTV last year at the Tatton Park Alfa Experience and managed to take a snap as he passed my car. The pic doesn't do the colour justice but the guy driving it saw me taking the pic (and ogling) and waved

I love the acid green - think I would probably choose it over red or silver for a spider. It is my second favourite colour, after Atoll Blue of course, which is undoubtedly the best. Keep looking at it until you agree.
Some of the launch 147s were in the acid green and I warmed to them immediately too. Alfas have the personality to carry off a brave colour.
Atoll Blue, another new one on me - and another one I've never seen in the flesh. I had an Audi in a very similar colour, looks great !
Really like the black one's too, especially if it had tan leather. But, as much as I dote on my Spider, I'm not sure my waxing arm could take the strain of owning a black one.
There are 2 acid green spiders in Istanbul... i dont think there are only 100 of them worldwide... In my opinion red spiders are the best but color fades after 2-4 years so thats a major problem of having a red one...
Pics of Spider at track day prove to me again once and for all that they are the best looking Alfas (along with GTV obviously) since 1980, in my humble of humble (maybe biased ) opinion's......................whatever the colour!! sooooo pretty.....
