Hi guys. There's no denying that the Alfa 159 looks sexiset when the sunroof is up. See mine in the attachments.
But the question is, how can I keep the roof up after locking the car and parking it?
It happened once, I came back and found that the roof was up and the car actually locked, but not sure how that happened.
Note: long pressing the unlock button would completely open the sunroof, not lift it up.
Any tips?

Are you suggesting that by default when the sunroof is lifted and I lock the car (with the remote control), the roof should remain up?
I don't think that, since when locking the car with the remote, not only the roof goes down (closes) but all windows close as well.
It seems that's built in the locking system.

Then there's something up with the car.

Have you tried a battery disconnect reset?
(Only do this with the windows and roof fully closed.)

There is also a reset proceedure for the sunroof
which you could try.

Or perhaps it's just the lock button on your key remote
that is sticking?

Does it do it with both key remotes?

Thanks for trying to help man !
Please see my responses in BOLD.

No, I am not sure I know how to do that.

I tried that several times. That fixed a problem I had whereby the roof wouldn't reach that highest (last) level of lift, but the original problem (the fact that the roof would close when locking the car) still exists.

No, definitely not, the remote and its buttons are working as supposed, no button sticks.

Does it do it with both key remotes?

Yes
