is it possible?

There is a few saloon bumpers that i think would look great on my sportwagon but they are different. It looks like there is a bigger indentation for the boot in the sw bumper.

Are all the mounts etc the same?

Will cutting be required, or fiberglassing?..or both?

If not, does anyone know any other nice sportwagon rear bumpers, i do love the original but want it to look slightly different\better?

Thanks,

Hahaha,

Yeah it was lol.

I was fascinated by your car sj156...one of the best 156's ive seen.

I bored my girlfriend explaining that yours is the saloon version of mine, etc.

You from Derby then?

its quite hard to find SW bumpers (not too sure if they are same as the saloon)

but i'll have a rummage around my bookmarks and post links as i find them :)

this one looks quite nice

i have delt with them before, and their stuff is quite good considering its fiberglass - reasonably thick and my front lip has stood up so far.

hehe, sounds good sj156,

and that SW bumper looks really good - not over the top.

I have a unit at the Parker industrial estate, the other side of that metal\scrapyard place, I live in Allestree,

Ive had a few new dings on my car since parking at morisons so yeah i park miles away lol. Most other people in that place seems to be 90+ and cant control a trolley.

Whats the delivery like on that Helvetia company? Ive had a cadamuro grill on order from Gazzella Racing for 4 months now and still haven't received anything (on order apparently). That facelift grill on the website you showed me looks just as good if not better!

Matt!

they seem to have good english, but can be funny about replying to emails if your just trying to ask an unusual question.

but i found when its a straight forward order they are bang on. delivery time was only a week or two at the most & the kit is well packed.

i've delt with gazzella before and service was very fast, so i'd say its a reflection on cadamuro dragging their heels more than anything. - not the first time i've heard that either.

re: the rear bumper, i woud be slightly cautious about a Whole bumper made from fiberglass only because if someone does give you a tap, it just wont hold up as well as plastic.

but then, for the money it could be worth a punt. may never happen.

everytime someone mentions Allestree, i always get a craving for georges cod & chips  mmmmmm thats me sorted tonight :D

Rekon i should just hang on for the cadamuro then?

Yeah Georges tradition  - i go there every friday. Its my reward for having to work late.

I seemed to have a taxi driver go into the back of me every so often so maybe fiberglass isn't such a good idea. Who teaches them to drive!
