Hi, all
I'm now an ancient (70) 2 litre Alfa 156 driver, having progressed through cars like the Fiat 124 ST 1600 (2), and a Lancia Delta 1600GT (on which everything that could go wrong - did!) but a brilliant drivers car. The Alfa is 7 yrs old from new, only one warranty claim for a paint run, and no real problems at all at 50,000 miles. I'm hoping to keep it until I have to give up driving! My only complaint is the somewhat haphazard fuel gauge, and the fact that it scrubs the inside edges off the front tyres - but that's the penalty for having a car that goes where you point it! I look forward to reading some interesting comments about 156's in the future.
