which cars do you drive and why? Alfa GT 2.0 JTS because I always said I’d have a red sports car by the time I got to 40 and once I had the bug for speed was hooked (Got my red Celica at 39 ¾!) I also drive Ian’s Jaguar X-type estate – but only if I need to go to the supermarket

Won't be driving the splitty until she's got disk brakes.
Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo? I think I’m getting to be that way!
What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo? I was looking for something a bit more stylish to replace my Celica and had already considered the Golf GTI, but it didn’t do anything for me. My son suggested the Alfa GT, so we trundled off to the Alfa dealers where I test drove a diesel one. Loved the car, but it had to be petrol, so test drove a 147 2.0TS too and fell in love with the marque there and then!
Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one? In Gloucester & South Section AROC
What do you like most about Alfas? Styling , engines and relative rarity
What do you like least about Alfas? Dealer service
What would be your dream cars? Ferrari 360 spider, Lambo Gallardo, Jaguar XKR
What car would you least like to drive? A Suzuki Jimny - that would be my absolute nightmare
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)? I’d love to do the Italian coast in an Alfa V6 Spider, not fussy on which one, just the thought of the sun beating down, the wind in my hair and the open road! Ian would be my passenger and there’d be no music other than the purr of the engine
Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us? I once drove along the runway at RAF St Athan by mistake

It was very foggy and my two passengers were very very drunk. I was supposed to be going around the taxiway to get from one side of the camp to the other but didn’t know where to go. So one of them told me to make sure I kept the small lights to the left of the car. He didn’t say which colour they were supposed to be, so when they changed I took a sharp left and kept following them!!! Both passengers sobered up pretty quickly when they realised we were half way up the runway
What interests do you have outside of Alfas? Walking, travel, Bristol Rovers and reading
Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc) I have a birth mark in a very embarrassing place – but that’s all I’m going to say!
Do you have a party trick? If so what is it? I can make a chicken out of a tea towel.
What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people? There’s always a lot going on and a lot of good people on line. Everyone’s welcome and it doesn’t have that blokey thing going on that a lot of car forums do.
If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it? How many pairs of shoes can £50,000 buy? No seriously, I’d hire a private jet and fly to a deserted island for some quality time with Ian
