When I first saw the current (2000 on) models. If you don’t have the passion before driving one, you certainly would after.

The admiring glances. I like to think they’re for me, but I know they’re not – it’s the damn car

Ferrari 250 LM Also a V6 Alfa - not sure which one yet.
What car would you least like to drive?
Some type of Yank tank I would think. Anything big and wallowy.

Usually the Rant Room – keeps my blood pressure down and its good to see I’m not the only grumpy old Alfa owner around.
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
Whooo, not sure, but it would have to include Italian roads (no brainer), some mountain passes and, oh yeah, some high speed autobahn, ‘specially with Claudia, oooops sorry I mean Denise - my wife in the passenger seat (even though she’ll almost certainly be snoring), oh yes and some Jean Michel Jarre, or Kraftwerk on the CD

Radio control flying and searching for the plot I keep losing (seriously - I dreamt up an amazing plot line one night for a novel, but then when I woke up, I was sober and I'd forgotten it - damn it!!)

Once saw a ghost and was interviewed on Radio Bristol, JK Rowling used to live just down the street from me and it is rumoured that I am related to Jenson Button. I’m also afraid of the dark, can’t write fiction and am absolutely useless on the track………coincidence?? Ahh doon't think soo!

What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?
There’s always something new, funny, interesting, helpful and/or downright outrageous to be found. As for favourites – well, pretty much all the high posters (you know who you are) seem like aquaintances although I’ve never met any of them of course (not sure I’d want to actually, some of them are, well, sort of, err…I’ll just say scary). WOT is always good for a larf.
If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
On myself!! Perhaps that V6 I’ve always promised myself and a motorbike to keep the commute expense down. Plenty of wine, women (ooops again, sorry dear), and song then squander the rest.
