So how do I get the pictures to come straight up here rather than the link?

looks nice mike , can see why you swapped the mito rather than service it

maybe easier to start a thread in the "just images" section where you can upload the pictures as you have done photobucket links, that will add the pics.
otherwise you will have to resize them add upload to this thread.
then just add the new thread link on here

Can't I'm afraid. Said I would go on a bellringing outing to Caythorpe , Fulbeck and finally Norton Disney with my wife followed by a meal at The Royal Oak at Aubourn.

Also can't take it to BLS as I am taking Phil to a university open day

Also can't do the next evening meet as I have a works dinner that night

One day Nige will arrange something on a free day for me

Resize your pic to 200Kb or less.

Go Advanced.

Hit " Manage Attachment " Button.

Select your pic by browsing.

Upload.

Job done.

PS. Click on pic in the Post to enlarge the pic (s ).

Can be done Al ! But for bigger and better pics you have to use PB or similar and Post in an Image Lounge.
