Hi,
Don't personally know of any in the Scunthorpe area but I suspect that there are a couple of Lincs Members who well be able to advise, sure that they'll be along soon.
I can recommend BLS in Lincoln if you don't find anyone else.
I don't recall sending you the Lincs Lot Welcome Post so I will now ! If I have Posted this before then just ignore it, just one more sign of advancing senility !
A warm welcome from the Lincs Mob !!!
We are quite an active little group here so it would be very nice to see you in the Lincs Lounge and at some of our Meets soon. Lots of these coming up, some great ones coming over the next few Months.
Our next Meet is an Evening one on Thursday 28th October near Market Deeping from 19.00 onwards.
http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/linco...red-alfas.html (Lincs Evening Meet – A Red Lion & Some Multi Coloured Alfas.)
You might want to add your details on to the “ Names, Locations and Cars “ Thread too, I generally don’t do this unless people “ask “ in there, don’t wish to give away any secrets !
http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/linco...-and-cars.html (Lincs Members - Names, Locations & Cars.)
Follow the Links to see what is going on and join in, I can pretty much say that you won't regret it. Apart from myself everyone else in the Lincs Section are very nice people.........
From the Lincs Lounge also follow Links and see what we have been up to last year, some cracking Meets and some great pictures.
Don't forget to look at the " Stickies " right on top of the Lincs Lounge page.

Cheers,
Nige.
Have you seen the Lincolnshire Lounge ? Don't stay off the radar, come on in and have a look !
Next Event - Evening Meet In The South Of The Area.
Old radar men never die - their echoes just fade away in accordance with the inverse fourth power law.

i agree with nige. i live in scunthorpe and took mine to BLS in lincoln when i needed work doing to it.
couldnt recommend them more highly.
they have over 26 years experience with alfas, used to be involved in racing and if you want your car in good hands then id definately give them a bell.

Bit tricky in the Scunny area now....most people go south to BLS or ICS at North Hykeham near Lincoln.I have used both and found them friendly, helpful and well informed on all things Alfa.Trentside Classics and Sportscars in Burringham used to be OK but not sure if they are still going now.

Trentside at Burringham always get the thumbs up from me when it comes to Alfas!
Give him a ring, have a chat, and you will know your bella is in very safe, capable hands!

Is this the little garage just on the main road? Think I know where you mean. Do they have a good knowledge of GTA's do you know?

Mal at Trentside has always looked after my Montreal and other Alfas. His knowledge is expansive and a shame he has had to cut his cloth to suit the current climate. He is definatly not closed and is still taking work on.

Monty is fine just been wrapped up for a couple of years as the lads are more interested in wakeboarding and waterskiing, so most of the summer is taken up with that. Boat ownership gives Alfa ownership a run for it's money with regards emptying the old wallet. The back seat situation doesn't help either as Sam is nearly six foot tall now.
Front wings just need a small amount of paint on the edges, and the seats are planned to be retrimmed this year by some RR trimmers looking for weekend work. Car is run up every month and always starts on the button.
What sits on your driveway now Martin?

Mal is indeed still in business.
He is a great character and it is worth going along to see him and have a look around his place.
The AROC had a meeting at his spot earlier on this year and it was a good night- very entertaining
Recently he has been working on his boat the Spider T while business was quiet and I think spent 6 weeks off while repairing the boat in dry dock which is why some may think he had closed.
Anyway he is open for business - (he overhauled my 75 V6 heads at the beginning of the year).
He does all Alfas but if you want work doing on the really modern stuff then BLS have all the genuine Alfa diagnostic kit.
By the way Mal runs a 156 T/S as his every day car and his wife has a 146.

Nice to see a few people with Alfa's in the Scunny area
It's not in Scunny, but it's close, Broughton. Storm motors, the previous owners had a bad rep of being, well pretty crap. The new ish ( not all that new now) are brilliant I took my vectra there a few times when I needed work doing on it, will deffo take the Alfa there, He's a VW specialist, but knows his stuff

if you are prepared to go as far as Grimsby from scunny then Mat @ Express Autos is x-fiat / alfa group main dealer qualified and really knows his alfas well. he serviced and looked after my GTA many many times and never had a single issue with the work. bloody good prices too!
