Lincs Evening Meet – A Red Lion & Some Multi Coloured Alfas – 28 October 2010.
For our October Evening Meet we are heading down South to West Deeping, a little place just outside of Market Deeping. It will no doubt be pitch dark by the time we get there but it’s nice and light and cosy inside !

This is a nice traditional Village Pub situated in the village of West Deeping, easily accessible from the A16 and A15. It has a very spacious Car Park and the location, as promised, should certainly suit folk in the South of our Region.
The Pub is renowned for its selection of Fine Ales, these vary from week to week but Ged the Landlord assures me that there is always a good selection on offer. For food Ged has kindly extended his “ Early Bird “ offer so you can have two meals for £12
BUT YOU MUST PRE BOOK if you want to take advantage of this offer, mention Nige and AO to get this. Food from the Main Menus available until 21 00, pre booking not essential but may be just as well to pre order anyway. The Specials in the pics vary from week to week so this is just an example of what’s on offer.
Seems a friendly place and they seem keen to look after us, even a private room if you want this.
Start time of 1900, gives people who have to work a bit more time to get sorted. Of course you can arrive earlier, as I probably will, or a bit later, no problems. The meet will last as long as you want it to, no shame if you have to leave a bit earlier than most or you can stay until they chuck us out, no pressure, let’s just take it easy and enjoy the evening.
If you are new to the meets don’t be shy and just come along, we don’t bite, just drool a bit ! You needn’t come alone, bring wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend or even granny, everyone is very welcome. Coming in an Alfa is not mandatory, just come along and enjoy the wide ranging conversations, you don’t have to be a car nut to enjoy these Evening Meets.
Apart from our little Christmas get together in December this will be the last Evening Meet until next Spring so do please come along if you can. RSVP NOW and I’ll see you there !
