Please help me find this car, Please!!

Hi All, wondering if anyone can help??? i am looking for a specific Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6, Registration UAM 4Y. It is red and i think it was registered around the year 1982/83.
It was my Grandfather's car and was his pride and joy!! Unfortunatley after his death in 1996 my Grandmother reluctantley sold it. But i was very close to him and we both shared a bond with the car. I have often wondered over the years where the car is and if one day i could buy it back.
I seem to remember the guy that bought it was going to restore it and put it into shows, so i am hoping that someone on here may know where the car is?? if the owner does not want to sell it, it would just be great to see the car again, especially if it has been restored!

seems like you may be in luck, the car is still around

according to the DVLA website it's currently taxed so is more than likely to be still in regular use

I have a sneaky suspicion that was at Stanford hall last year. When I'm back on my laptop I'll have a look at my pics from that event. That reg looks familiar. Also try looking in the image threads on here at the various italian car meets as an off chance.

Just had a scroll through my very unofficial and very basic Register Thread, no luck there. You could try this Link to the World Wide Register, there is a Link there that gets you to the Spread Sheet.

As Kev has said Alex Jupe runs the official UK Register though I don't know how many people have registered. I'm one of the guilty ones and haven't registered on either.

Be nice if you Post this in our little Register Thread here too, as it's a " Sticky " it's always on top of the pile of the Posts and so will be prominent for longer.
