Mini Meet - Bank Holiday Saturday ?

Would really like a Lunchtime Mini Meet before out next regular Evening meet

on the 17th June but I'm struggling with dates, the Calendar is full of other happenings around this time.

I would like to propose a Lunchtime Meet on Saturday, 29th May at 12.00. I have a place in mind about twenty Miles North of Boston on the A16, if for some reason this venue doesn't work out I have alternatives not too far from this provisional location.

Would also REALLY like to encourage some Alfa Classics to turn up to give us a theme for this Meet.

What do you all think ?? PLEASE reply with your thoughts on this. I realize that a Bank Holiday Weekend may not be the ideal time for some of you but this is the only date free of other things before late June, where does all the time go ?

Help me out on this one people, if there is any interest at all for this I'll go ahead and sort it out. Time is of the essence here so please, please reply on this Thread expeditiously so that I can sort it out.

The " Classic " owners are doubly encouraged to try and make this one, hopefully a sunny day, a nice drive and some chat, has to be a better option than Bank Holiday films !

I await your replies with interest and more than a little trepidation.......

Don't have to be there on time Mark, if need be I can possibly find another location in the vicinity which will be open all afternoon.

DEFINITELY POSTPONED.

Various factors have led me to this decision.

However it is only postponed and I'll be looking at this one again soon.

sundays might b better less people at work nige!!!!!probably c u at the cadwell day like that track am gonna try and get the shift off on the saturday be comin in the gtv am only running the 33 very locally until i get those dam carbs sorted it cost me an arm and leg to run at the moment gotta go on the rolling road £120 cheapest i can find and the gtv is due for mot in july so gotta watch the pennies god knows when ill get it set up might have to put the job on the christmas list put it away till next yr OH!! the joys of a motor hobbie

It's only money Steve, I vaguely remember what it looks like.

One reason I postponed this Meet was that on that day Kev and I will be a bit busy with spanners in hand, feel free to join us...........

Hope to make Cadwell but for sure I will be at the Six Bells Meet near Bourne on the 17th, nice if you can make that but I know it's a bit of a run for you.

Oddly enough daytime Weekend Meets don't seem too popular, really don't know why.

weekend day meets are better for me, as work shifts in the week, if im on a late or night shift, they clash with the meets, was on lates for the last meet, the next meet im on nights, i would get there then have to come streight back, hardly worth it. earlys im good to go, but always seems to fall wrong. sats & sundays good, as dont work those, unless going onto nights on a sunday. didnt catch the minny meet as been a bit buisy. but im up for some of those.

Other things happening that day as well Chris so it had to be postponed. Will be looking at a Saturday afternoon one soon though, fingers crossed that you can make it.
