Lincs Evening Meet – Posh Trees And Little Ducks.
For our first Evening Meet of the year we are heading out into the sticks ‘’tween Sleaford and Lincoln, I hope this will be convenient for most people.
Date :- Thursday, 8th April.
Time :- 19 00

This is a nice Pub situated by a little babbling river in the small village of Scopwick. It has a few picnic tables on the river bank, be very nice if the weather is kind enough to let us sit outside. C’mon, be optimistic, this Winter weather has to end sometime !
If the weather isn’t too good there is plenty of room in the very pleasant Bar area inside. Decent selection of beers on offer as well as an extensive Menu, sample pages attached in Post # 1 but there is more on offer than I have Posted. No need to pre order, just order on the night BEFORE 21.00.
Enough Car Parking in front of the Pub, unusually for Lincolnshire you may need to get your Handbrake working or you could end up with a wet car !!!!
If the Car Park gets full there is “ overspill “ Parking at the rear of the place. I think this venue will suit us just fine for our first Evening Meet of the year.
Post # 1 gives you a location map and the postcode for those of you with SatNav, for those of us without such new fangled things looks like Google will be your friendly Navigator ! Also in here are the sample Menus.

Start time of 1900, gives people who have to work a bit more time to get sorted. Of course you can arrive earlier, as I probably will, or a bit later, no problems. The meet will last as long as you want it to, no shame if you have to leave a bit earlier than most or you can stay until they chuck us out, no pressure, let’s just take it easy and enjoy the evening.
If you are new to the meets don’t be shy and just come along, we don’t bite, just drool a bit ! You needn’t come alone, bring wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend or even granny, everyone is very welcome. Coming in an Alfa is not mandatory, just come along and enjoy the wide ranging conversations, you don’t have to be a car nut to enjoy these Evening Meets.
Lets all get a bit of fresh ( not too fresh I hope…..
) Spring evening air and start off this Seasons Evening Meets with a bang.
