the 2.0 fiat is the 5 cylinder 20v engine, a very much more difficult car to do as the extra cylinder means the cam-belt is up against the chassis leg. used to be the case that the engine had to be taken out but now places have developed the knack of getting it done in situ
would agree though on making sure you have all the parts covered, although BLS can do the cambelt, tensioner & idler bearing for £243.80 inc fitting & VAT so probably an accurate quote. (anyone else read the flyers from saturday

)
depends which engine you have though, if it's the 2.0 then the balance belt etc should really be changed at the same time. if left on then they have a habit of wrapping themselves around the cam-belt when they break, which doesn't do the engine any good

BLS quote £72.45 inc VAT for the balance shaft belt & tensioner, no extra labour charge

they also recomend changing the auxiliary belt & tensioner at £54 inc VAT, again with no extra for labour
don't think that's at all bad, and if i get a petrol sportwagon instead of a diesel one then tom & phil we be getting that job done for me, told them as much tonight

very impressed with them
