For this Meet we are off to Skegness for our annual trip to the Seaside. The idea is that you join the Meet at any or all of three locations, take Skegness by storm, and then retire to a comfortable hostelry to finish the day off.
See Map 1. The first Meet Location is just off the A52, near the end of the Wainfleet Bypass. For those who wish to meet here we can get together and then leave in convoy for our second Meet location which is on the Seafront.
For those of you coming along the A52 from Boston please take care with the Speed Limits, lots of Cameras on this road and the Limits seem to change every 100 yards and every five Minutes…….
See Map 2. The second Meet Location is in the Princes Parade Car Park on the Southern Seafront. Plenty of room here and it’s free ! If the front bit of this car park is full there are acres of room at the sea side of this location. From here we invade Skeggie, buy Sweeties, Candy Floss, Kiss Me Quick Hats and have Fish ‘n Chips al fresco if you want. Generally just suit yourself as to what you want to do in Skeggie for a couple of hours. If the weather is unkind to us we can cut this bit short if you want and move on to the Hotel a bit earlier than planned.
See Map 3 and Link. Then back to the Car Park and depart in convoy for the short run to the North Shore Hotel & Golf Club for drinks, snacks and chat. It’s a very nice venue with stunning views. ( Don’t expect to see much though, will be pretty dark by the time we get there ! ) Again, plenty of room to Park. Full range of food and snacks are available, Menu is in Post # 1. Accommodation is obviously on offer here so if you do wish to stay overnight you can. You must book this though so if you do want to stay overnight it’s up to you to arrange this.

You can join this Event at any of the three Locations so you can make a day of it, just come to the Car Park for a quick look or just come along to the Hotel for drinks and chat. This is a very flexible Meet, just suit yourselves and come along to the bits that appeal to you. If you are new to the meets don’t be shy, just come along and join in.
