Morning Steve.

Can't help on the techie bits, I assume you Posted in the Techie Lounge for this ? Sure you'll get some help there.

The BLS Meet is going ahead but there are a few details to sort out yet, maybe 2/3 weeks before I can post it up as an Event.

£490 fitted sounds reasonably cheap, but you need to take it to someone who has done a couple before, they are an absolute ball-ache to do right, and if it is messed up your gonna come away with leaky driveshaft seals..

Hi rosso thats who has quoted me hes also willing to let me supply parts and he'll just charge labour plus so thinking may aswell have a new dmf fitted while the car is in bits £229 from mangoletsi so alot less than I thought it would be.

BTW its just had its first trip to ICS jumped in Monday morning to go to college (yes i'm the worlds oldest student lol) and got this warning messege that there was a motor failure do not pass go do not collect £200 go directly to dealer so on the way home called in £40 and 5 mins later fault code was gone and informed that they can do this sort of thing for no reason, looks like i'm on a fast track learning curve into Alfa ownership. Think i'm going to buy my own fault code reader save a fortune

We charge NOTHING for clearing fault codes, because it is literally 5 minutes work. Also, for £40 you can buy a cable and a license for AlfaDiag and clear your own fault codes with your laptop.

Charging for clearing fault codes is a bit steep in my book. But like I say, its easy money if you've got the cheek to charge for it!
